Cereal for Morgan

Morgan has started eating a little cereal to supplement his normal diet. He seemed a little stunned the first time he got a mouth full, but he quickly recovered and now he loves it. Of course, we got photos and video of the whole thing.

Weekend Visit

Morgan had a lot of fun this last weekend with Grandpa and Grandma Griffin. As always, it was a refreshing and encouraging visit. We just wish that the drive wasn't so far. Matt Parker, you're doing a great job driving. I never once feared for my life which is more than I can say for my own driving so you must not be doing too bad. Here are a couple of photos from the visit and we are trying out a new video system. From now on, the videos will be high quality so anyone can download and burn to DVD at will.

Easter in Paris (Texas)

Many thanks to Memaw and Pepaw for putting up with us Easter weekend. It's been so long since we have been able to make a trip to that part of the world, we were starting to forget how much we enjoy it. It was a very relaxing time.

I had some some good fishing time with Shannon, Randy, and Stefan. Congratulations to Randy and Zanetta on the new book store. It's such a neat place but we didn't even think to take pictures of it, so everyone else will just have to imagine. Also, happy birthday, Haleigh. Sixteen is a big step. I'm sure you'll be driving in no time.

Morgan loved all of the attention. We are still trying to unspoil him.

George Bush Sr. and the Gang

Today we had a very exciting afternoon at the dedication of George W. Bush's childhood home. We had the priviledge of seeing Laura Bush, George Bush Sr., and Barbara Bush speak. The setting was fairly intimate with only a few hundred people in the crowd so we were able to get some pretty good pictures and videos. Morgan was smiling and laughing through the whole thing. He was very excited to be there.

Four Month Birthday

Morgan is four months old today. Grandma Tacie came into town yesterday to watch Haleigh perform in a play at Midland College. She spent the night and left this morning so we have some pictures with her and few other miscellaneous photos.

The First Time in the High Chair

Ashleigh just got a high chair for Morgan and we decided that it was time for him to join the family around the table during meal time. He's getting much better at sitting up but he still has a hard time when he starts to slump over. Here are a couple of pictures.
