Happy Birthday, Morgan!

Morgan is officially 3(!) on Monday, and we celebrated in style yesterday. I made the cake for the first time which went better than I expected. Lots of Morgan's friends, new and old, were in attendance. He had been looking forward to his party for months, so thanks to everyone who helped make it a special day.

Decorating the Tree

A few days ago we set up and decorated our Christmas tree. We cranked up the traditional Richard Clayderman CD and put the babies to work. They had a great time, though Morgan was a bit of a bull-in-the-china-cabinet.

Thanksgiving 2008

Once again we did it all! We traveled to Abilene on Wednesday. My Dad, Matt, and I started our Thanksgiving off by making room for our pie at the 5K Turkey Trot on Thursday morning. We all had a great time. Congratulations to Matt on his racing debut!
That afternoon we stuffed ourselves, took some photos, hopped back in the car, and headed to Liberty Hill. We celebrated Thanksgiving for the second time on Friday at Tommy & Becky's house near San Antonio. The kids got to play with their cousins (second cousins, actually) on that side. They literally rolled in the dirt together for hours. You know you've had a good time when you arrive somewhere with clothes on but go home in your diaper (in Emma's case).
After we returned to Liberty Hill, we spent Saturday relaxing at the Griffin house. Matt and I were able to enjoy a date to the movies (thanks Papa Wes and G.G.). On Sunday we drove back home.

Bedtime Story with Daddy

Just one photo this time...here's one of the kids taken during their bedtime ritual. They love to lie down and read books before bed. It's especially cute to see Emma get down there on her belly.

Ring-around-the-rosie

Morgan & Emma like to play ring-around-the-rosie together. In this video, Morgan is trying to play but Emma keeps sitting down too early. As usual, it all ends with Morgan on top of Emma, Emma screaming...cut!

Fall Festival

We weren't planning to do anything for "halloween" but at the last minute we decided to rush them over to a fall fest at the church across the street from us. They couldn't really play the games, but they loved the cupcakes!
