Wow! it's been way too long since our last post. In fact, I don't think we've ever gone this long without posting. We were gone for quite a while for Christmas and as soon as we got back we packed everything up and move into out new house.
For Christmas we flew down to Austin for Christmas with the Griffinheimers. It was Morgan's first flight, of course. While we were there, we got together with an old friend of mine from high school, Stephanie Ar. I posted a photo of all of us. Then we had a Christmas celebration with the Matthews (My mom's side of the family) in Temple at the Carpenter's lake house.
From there we went to Dallas and met up with Grandma and Grandpa Motz. We also got to see John Parker. I posted a photo with him too.
Then we went to Paris, Texas to spend Christmas Eve and Day with the Motz side of the family. There are pictures of that below.
Finally, we came home and immediately packed up and moved. In the middle of all that we found out that the baby is going to be a girl! Wheeeew! Hope you're not tired of reading. I will post a picture of the sonogram tomorrow.

Our Friends The Braytons
We want send out our sympathy to the Brayton family tonight. Jennifer's husband Jim past away last night unexpectedly. They are very dear friends of ours and Jim will be greatly missed. We know there are no words that can comfort a dark moment like this one but we want the Braytons and especially Jennifer to know that we love them and through it all, God is faithful.

Jiujitsu Tournament
Our team did really well at the Jiujitsu tournament yesterday in Dripping Springs. Thanks, Dad, for holding the video camera for so long. We took home the third place team trophy and I got first place in my division. Here is the video from my first fight. Sorry, Morgan's not old enough to enter yet.

The Thanksgiving Trip (and Walking)
We headed down to the hill country for Thankgiving this year. We were very happy to see the Griffin side of the family. Quite a few of them had not even seen Morgan until now. We were also excited to see Sylia Rose (Morgan's cousin) doing so well. We got a photo or two with Morgan and Sylvia in Paw Paw's lap.
In the midst of all this Morgan got to ride in his car seat facing forward for the first time and he took his first few steps. Wow!

We're Pregnant!
Some of you already know but we thought we would make it official by posting it on the blog. It came as quite a shock when we found out that Ashleigh is already over thirteen weeks pregnant! The official due date is May 20th. We will know if it's a boy or a girl in five or six weeks. Wow!
We actually have some good video of Morgan, too, but we thought we would post this first. The new baby isn't even here yet and they are already fighting for our attention.
Anyway, here is the first ultrasound.

I Wanna Be a Cowboy, Baby
Morgan experienced his first fall festival at the church. We dressed him up like a cowboy. He had a great time but I think we enjoyed it even more. You will see why when you look at the photos.
