2009 Permian Basin Fair & Expo

Matt has been working his annual stint at the fair for the past two weekends of this month so we took advantage of the opportunity to expose the kids to some real culture. They had their first taste of funnel cake, shared a footlong corndog, rode a few rides, visited a petting zoo, and perused the 4H exhibits. They pretty much thought it was the best thing ever!

Introducing Viola Idelette...

Last week, on Monday, we had our big sonogram to find out the baby's gender. At first, baby was very shy and played hard to get for quite awhile. But in the end, we got a look and as you all know by now...it's another girl! So Morgan's hunch was right and the rest of us were wrong. It does make the name choice easier since we had a girl's name picked out even before this pregnancy. After the truth came out, Viola warmed up and started posing as you can see from the second picture.
