We finally got them done! And it's nice that we can do them on our own land now.

Starting the Farm

Matt has been preparing our first garden plot all last week. The kids and I got out there to help rake up hay (for chicken bedding and compost) and put in the first plants. Right now we have tomatoes and some berry bushes in. We've ordered a lot of seeds too. These will be more of a late summer/fall crop.

New House Photos, Phase 1: Kitchen & Master

OK, we are finally getting some of our own pictures of the new house up! But since most of it is in moving disarray still, we are posting in phases. Today, we did kitchen/dining & master bedroom photos.

Seattle Vacation

We had the best time in Seattle last week! We spent one night and day with our friends the Goodmans and one day & night on our own in the city. Washington amazed us with its beauty– even more than we expected. We enjoyed delicious food and unusually pleasant weather the whole time. And we vowed to return for a longer stay in the area. There is so much to do!
