Morgan Loves Sand

Thanks to the Griffin grandparents, we were able to get Morgan a sand box last week. At first he was a little freaked out when we set him down in it. It didn't take long for hime to warm up to it, though. Now, As soon as he goes out the back door he makes a bee line for the sand box.

Morgan is learning a lot of new words. Most recently he learned to say circle and bubble.

Easter in Space

I'm working in the children's department at church now so I guess I'm going to have to get use to some lesson titles that are a little less CS Lewis and a little more cartoon network. This was the title of today's lesson. Anyway, the Motz family visited this weekend so here are some Easter photos... from space.

Morgie enjoys the great outdoors...

Well, as you can see, we stopped for the mandatory bluebonnet photo session on the way home from Austin on Sunday. Cute kid, state flower- you can't go wrong.
The other photos are just Morgie puttering around in the backyard. We've invested in some really high-tech toys... coffee can, wooden blocks, rock, stick, cat bowl, etc. Nothing but the best for our little one!

One Last Hurrah!

Ashleigh will not be able to travel pretty soon as we get closer to the end of the pregnancy so we decided to take a quick trip down to San Antonio while we still have the chance. The Griffin grandparents kept Morgan while we stayed at the historic St. Anthony Wyndham Hotel just a couple of blocks from the Alamo. We had a very relaxing time cruising the riverwalk, eating at the finest restaurants, and shopping at every outlet mall along the way. Here are a few pictures of our last hurrah.
